Does your kindergartener comfortable with his sight words? Practice his spelling with these handy sight word scrambles. The children need to rearrange the letters and spell each word from the Dolch Sight Word list. They copy these letters onto a line below the letters.
Benefits of the Sight Words Scrambles
This practice improves the reading speed, accuracy, spelling, and their enjoyment of the words they are working on. Each worksheet focuses on six sight words. The aim is to familiarize your students with the sight words and to reinforce the correct letter sequencing the word.
It can be used in a small group, one-on-one with individual students, or working with the entire class. However, you can laminate these worksheets and use them with a dry erase markers. You can also give it to your students as a homework for additional practice to reinforce the words they learned in class.
There are 92 words included in these worksheets (40 pre-primer and 52 primer words from the Dolch list).
